The casts

The second cast red!
So this is cast #1 blue!
So 2 days after Rustin had broke his arm, he decides he does not need his soft cast any more. What is a mother to do with her child? I was in the kitchen cleaning and he was sitting on the couch watching his cartoons. I looked over from the kitchen at him and looked down at his arm looked at it again and said to myself that is the arm he broke but where is the soft cast. Well it was laying in a pile on the couch. I screamed and said Rustin you took of your big band-aid well his response to me was I do not need it anymore! Ya right I said thinking to myself again we are going to have to go back in they are going to have to put him back under and reset it. I was all stressed. I called the orthopedic mind you he was not going to get Rustin into a hard cast until the following Tuesday almost a week away. Well the DR. said just put the soft cast back on, I said ok I hope I do it right. Well they got him in on Thursday 2 days after he took it off. Yes they did have to reset it again and put a hard cast on. I hated to see him cry again from them having to reset it again but relieved he was going to be in a hard cast. We went back a week later for x-rays and the Dr. said we are going to have to reset the bone again and re-cast it. What reset it again? I knew they were probably going to have to re-cast because the swelling went down and his thumb was almost all the way inside the cast you could barley see it but reset it. He said yes it has moved since the swelling went down. So here we go again poor Rustin I told him they were not going to hurt him this time, I felt like I lied to him. Needless to say he was not happy. Rustin got to pick out another color for his new cast and he picked red for Christmas. So we go back in another 2 weeks and I really hope the bones stay where they need to. Rustin told me mom I don't want them to squeeze or pull on my bones any more! Breaks my heart! So we will see what happens. To be continued!

Broken Arm

There is a smile!
Rustin was a little drugged up!
Rustin's Nonnie(my mom) and my nanna came over to visit Rustin and brought him a bag of goodies. They included an apple and carrots so he can get strong good laughs!

Dang You some times think oh that will never happen! Well it did to Rustin. We went up for the weekend to Snow Flake to see my sisters son Chance get baptized well Saturday all the kids were playing and I guess Rylie Jessica's daughter was playing with Rustin on her bed and she was putting his stomach up on her legs like super man and was pushing him. Well one time I guess it the push was a little hard and he fell off the bed. The force and the landing broke his wrist in 2 places. He came down the hall screaming so bad I thought he was going to pass out. So I was trying to figure out what happened. I took off his shirt looked down at his wrist and sorry but I said shit! Lets go to the ER! So the fun night began. We had to drive to showlow that was the closest hostpital We got there no wait thank goodness cause this boy was not happy in a lot of pain and very scared to go to the hostpital. They got us back and began exrays he hated that. Then the doc came in and gave us the news. The Doc took us to see the xrays and explaind that they were going to have to put him under cause they need to reposition the bone so put it back where it is supposed to be. So we went in and the hard part began. They pinned him down to give him 2 big shots in the muscle of both his legs. Then the oxygen in his nose which he was flipping out at this point not happy at all. It was killing jeff and I to see this happening we felt so helpless. The drug started working but not enough he was fighting it. he kept screaming out Daddy Mommy and reaching for us. At that point both Jeff and I lost it. You heart just broke you wish you could take all the pain away. All we could do is sit watch and try to comfort him.So the 3rd shot worked a little so they were going to proceed. Well Jeff and my brother Hunter left the room. So it was me. I sat there held his hand and looked away. I heard Rustin scream and a loud pop as they pulled on it to put it in place. I just cried. The hard part was over. They put a splint on and a sling. Now it was time for him to wake up. That was probably the best part. He acted like he was drunk. He would say Daddy, Mommy with a big grin and big eyes and just reach for us. Then he would stutter saying where where ammmmmmm IIIIIIIIII really slow or what what happened? Then he would look at Jeff and say what happened to your eyes. Not sure what he was seeing. Mom you turned into and alien. Or I got a big band-aid on my arm. I can feel my bones. Look I got a band-ais on my leg. all this as he saying it just picture him drunk! Then the nurse gave him stickers and he says like he is drunk with the facial expresions stickers real slow. You would of had to have been there. Then they had these stickers over the lights and it looked like the ocean with tons of fish. So he looked up and said . The fissssshhhhhh are swimming. Anyways it was so much better to see him happy and not crying. Well he came to enough that they could let us go. So they gave us all his meds and a bowl for throw up just in case. they said some times the meds we gave him to put him out will cause his stomach not to feel so well. So off we went at 1:30 am to drive back to Queen creek. Rustin did pretty good on the way home he was so worn out. My brother was going to stay awake to help Jeff but he fell asleep so I stayed awake. You know that bucket they gave us for Rustin to throw up in well he did not use it I did. This pregnancy is a rough one. So I am glad they gave it to us so I could use it. Well we made it home about 4:15 am and hoped it one not be to rough for the rest of the night with the boy! He did pretty good. He has been doing pretty good since then. He is in some pain but them gave him some drugs to help they just make him sleepy. We go to the doc today so we will keep everyone posted on what happens. They said they should not have to do surgery since they got it back pretty close where it should be. Lets cross our fingers. He will get a cast in the next couple of days that will make it easier! Sorry for the long winded post.I will try to get the pictures from our phone that were taken at the ER!

Yes It's TRUE!

Yes you are seeing this picture right! You are all probably rubbing your eyes and taking a second look. I know I did when it showed up positive on the pregnancy test. Most of you knew I took a break from all the fertility I was on. Jeff and I were going on our vacation and I did not want to feel like crap on all that stuff. I wanted to enjoy my self. Well we stopped the drugs but did not stop well you know! I guess that all it takes just not stressing about it and take a nice vacation a lot better then being all those nasty drugs. I dove 12 dives and had no clue I was pregnant. doc says everything looks great! Are So the doc has close watch on me. I go for blood work every week and ultra sounds. It has been so neat to see this little peanut growing and the strong heart beat. I also have been feeling pretty sick with this one not fun but it is a good sign. We could not be more excited to have another little one come into our family. We have been waiting a while now!I did not to tell everyone till I was 3 months but between Rustin my mom and Jeff It will not happen. Everyone is too excited. I am almost there 10 weeks now Due June 23rd! Thanks to all my friends and family for there prayers and continued support!
Mee was so happy and did not get it at 1st either but poppie looked at it and went upstairs totally went over his head. Then he came back down stairs and finally got it.
My mom looking a little confused, since I had to tell her a little white lie a couple of weeks before this. She ask if I was pregnant cause everyone knew I was on fertility and of course been trying! I just want to use this shirt that I had made when I got pregnant the 1st time after Rustin.
My mom showing of her little goodie1

Oh that's funny the old women standing there watching the basketball game!

Oh this was pretty funny My uncle Jeff was Patrick swayze and his friend was chris farley they did the saturday night live chipendale dance. My Aunt Lisa was Mary Katherin Gallager. They all fit the parts perfect. I did not get a shot of my Aunt. We were all rolling on the floor laughing when they did there little strip dance. Good times!
This was the first party we went to.
All the girls who put this party on did a wonderful job with decorating it. They are known for there magic!

So Rustin went into the office to mess on the computer. When he tried to get down from sitting on top of the desk he got hung up on the nob conected to the desk. I heard mom help help. So I walked in and this is what I saw. I could not help but crack up laughing and before I got him down I had to run and get the camera. That's what ya get for messing!
Oh Rustin could not wait to carve his pumpkin!

Out of all the pumpkins Rustin brought me this one. So tiny and cute.
Rustin's little class.

He had so much fun putting all the fun stickers on his pumpkin.
Rustin loved that mee was helping him with his pumpkin.
He was proud of his pumpkin!
Having fun on the hay ride going around the farm. Rustin got to sit by his cousin Ridge.

feeding the cow sheep and goats. Rustin mad a comment about the boy sheep he said mom that sheep had a big bottom. He was talking about the male part that was hanging if you know what I mean. Kids will say the darnest things!
feeding the chickens and turkeys.

He made it to the end of the hay maze. He bumped into a couple dead ends but found his way through!

Cayman Island Trip

On our way to they Cayman Islands. We had an amazing trip did a ton of dives and saw alot of cool fish and other things under the sea. It is so amazing under the water it really is a whole different world down there. I can't wait to go on more dive trips. We were gone a full week I missed Rustin alot. When I got home I almost cried when I saw him it seemed like he grew just while we were gone. He said to me mom I missed you guys. You guys were taking forever. I swear that kid is so dang funny I love him so much. It's good to be home.
Amazing!
This is the bay where are condo was it was veryy pretty and we had the cove to our self kinda nice!We stayed on the north part of the Island at Kiabo.
Yikes!
Lets say he was not a happy crab!
This was pretty funny on our way home from one of our days of diving we almost ran this guy over he was in the middle of the raod so we turned around and jeff got out put the guy in the towel and drove all the way back to the condo with it in his lap he is lucky it did not pinch soemthing off!
We went down to do a dive and here was a big submarine with people in it checking out the under world it was cool to see it.
This eel was not to happy with us invading his space he would not come out from under that rock.
These were caves that we were diving in and through they were really cool a little scary but noy bad.

This was probably my favorite it is a spotted ray they are so pretty.
Oh we will never forget the car rides we had every day!
We ate some mahi mahi sandwiches here and they were so yummy with some jerk may or tater sauce. We ate so much fish but I never got sick of it.

I just love the colors on all these fish.

Say hi to mister lobster.

This guy that lives in this shell is called a conch and so its a conch shell. The people of the Caymans eat these. I tried conch chowder and it was really good I was suprised I liked it cause I hate clam chowder.

So my mother inlaw Linda made it done to the mermaid this time. we did the dive twice the 1st time She could not quite clear her ears the second time we she saw the mermaid and we cotintued on down deeper into the dive and she got mask sqeeze. Now we call her puffer fish cause her eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her head so we had to surface. Her eyes were pretty swollen. She is okay after some eyes drugs and a good night slepp. she learned and dove the rest of the trip with no problem!

Jeff getting some under water lovin!
Jeff inside the boat.
Me heading inside the boat.
This big grouper was just chiilin inside the boat.
This was neat to go do and see a wreck dive.
This bad boy just chilled while jeff got all up into hes bussines and I was right behind so he would bite jeff before me. This is a baracuda.
Don't touch these will hurt you. This is wher nemo lives!
Jeff would of done more dives then we did if there was more time. we did like 12 dives hello I think thats good for the week.
We saw some of the coolest looking fish all different kinds. The pictures do not do the underwater justice. You have to have a really expensive camera to capture all the amazing colors under the water. The colors were so bright.

It was always so fun to see these turtles on just about every dive we did. They ranged in sizes.
The cayman people drink a whole lot of rum. They are just layed back people ya man.
Is that water just to die for. so pretty.
The little car that we drove in all week That part of the trip was not all that fun.
A pirate ship I am sure it is for pirate week that they celebrate.

What is this. We foubd this as we were shopping one of the days the brand name of this pirate guy who was a good cook got this nick name. what a nick name I say!
The sandal tree off the side of the road. I guess sandals that are washed up or people just put on there.

We went to a wonderful resturant right on the ocean called Over The Edge it was amazing food. We ate fish and let me tell you fish there is so good and so disapointing at home. I wish we had more fresh fish here. I guess thats what happens when you do not liveve right by the ocean.
This big green guy decided to come out and see what all the fuss was about. He same right under me kinda crazy but way cool.
Jeff gave me the camera so I could take some shots of him. The sting rays were cool to play with!

On our way out on the boat dive to go find some sting rays. Me just putting all my gear together.
The lockers at the dive shop!

Me on our 1st dive.

Just chillin that is the Cayman life! I was liven it!

These big boys were always fun to see. We saw a few of these on our dive trips.
Linda and I just soaking up some sun On our last day in the Caymans. The boys went snorkling in the bay that we were staying by.

So this crazy thing stung jeff on the man boob while he was snorkling on top of that Jeff forgot to put sunscreen on and he fried his back and now is peeling like crazy it's sick. This was shots from right outside our condo on the bay!

Never to big to play with toys!
Rustin was having so much fun with his dad riding the dirt bike boys and there toys!

So for the camping trip I decided to bake homade whole wheat hamburger buns. They were not as hard as I thought they were going to be. I have decided to try making more momade breads we will see how it goes!
