Pictures did not show really how big it was.

Rustin Woke up the day before Thanksgiving with this huge swollen ball on the side of his neck. He said it hurt so bad. He would not even let us touch it. So i took him in to our friend Ryan who is a chiropractor and he said it was not a muscle and that you need to take him to see his doctor. S we took him in and the doctor asked if he had been sick. No I said the only thing is he had a small sore in his nose. I put some ointment on it and it seemed to have gotten better. He looked at it and said the sore turned into a staff infection and has spread to his lymph node. Crazy. He told me it can be serious but I think we caught it in the early stages. so he may not need to go to carden's childrens hospital. Yikes. He said we will need to give him an antibiotic shot now then put him on an antibiotic. He warned me the shot was big a painful. Oh great. So the nurse came in and Rustin did not know he was getting a shot and when she put it in his leg he was not so happy. It was a long couple of days keeping an eye on if the swelling was going down so we did not have to go to the hospital. Well all the meds did there job and everything looks good and no hospital! Crazy freak thing.

This guy trained dogs to fetch frisbees and he put on a show with them. the dog he has in his arms is a very rare dog that Steve irwin the crocodile hunter gave him righ before he died. Pretty cool!

One of Rustin's favorite things to do is decorate cookies. So we made a boat load of Halloween Sugar cookies and then we booed neighbors with them. Rustin had fun knocking on there doors dropping off the cookies and running so the neighbors did not know who did it! Lots of fun. Tabetha and I canned a bunch of pears and they were oh so good!

Stratt is growing up really fast.
1.He finally started to walk on his own and could not be more happier. He is on the go and in to everything and I love every minute of it!
2. He is so into toy cars and motorcycles. He pushes the along the floor and makes a motor sound.
His new word is more, all done, night night, bye bye. He loves to say hi to everyone. Or he will wave good bye to you.
3.He throws fits and yells at you when he does not get his way. He has a strong personality just like his brother but yet they are different in other ways.
4.He loves to be out side so thank goodness it is finally cooling down.
5.He loves pretty much any kind of fruit or veggie. So far he is not a picky eater! I just cannot get enough of him!
6. When daddy comes home from work he gets so excited and yells Daddy!
7. When he gets excited about something he will shake his voice just like his brother did when he said nummies. Hard to explain but everyone who knows my boys knows what I am talking about!It makes you laugh every time
8. He loves his 2 blankets that have a silky side and a soft furry side. He has to have it when he sleeps right along with the binky. He only has the binky when he sleeps now! It might be a tuff one to break.
It makes you laugh every time!

I really cannot believe this day has come Why must time fly by us so quickly. Rustin Started his 1st day of full day Kindergarten at Cambridge Academy. He could hardly wait till he started. He loves school and loves to be with friends. He is very social and I would have to say pretty dang smart! His Teachers name is Mrs. Miller. I took him in his class where there were two kids crying and Rustin just walked straight in the door and said by mom no hesitation. Made me sad for a second but then I was excited that he was excited!

So Rustin Told his dad he wanted to help mow the lawns. He was getting the hang off it. The mower was still a bit heavy for him. He did a great job!
Funny things Rustin has said the past couple of weeks:

He has been seeing a lot of ladies breast feeding under there covers and he does not understand why they have to be covered? His aunt Breanna was down and she was at our house doing this with baby Reed and I told him to not lift the cover and he asked why again. So I explained to him remember the time you went to the dairy and you saw the baby cow drinking from his mom? What are those called that the baby drinks from I asked?He turned and looked at Breanna as his eyes got big and his mouth dropped and said you have utters!!!!! Ya pretty much she said!

Mom I am going on my mission to Louisiana this is where Jeff served or Paraguay. Babysitters brother is serving there now.

Mom you go to the gym so you do not get fat? Yes. If you get a fat tummy you will be pregnant with my baby sister!!!

Rustin is quite the character he is so funny and makes us laugh all the time. He as grown up so much. He loves to spend time with his dad right now. They have been doing a lot of fishing lately. We just love this boy so much!

Stratt was sick Mothers day weekend. It is super sad when these little guys get sick. I hate seeing them throw up they are so help less.
I just don't want to believe it is true. He is to close to being 1 year. Stratt is a ball of joy. He has such a fun little personality. He loves his mom right now and does not let me out of his sight. He is working on crawling when he wants. It is not a true crawl he pushes with one leg then pulls with his arms. Just like his older brother. He has a total of 8 teeth now. He loves being outside. Loves to go to the pool and play.

So this was not a new addition but I guess wanted to be. This bird flew in and pooped all over my house. It was a pain to get it outside.

Mrs Madison is apart of the family now. We pretty much adopted her from a family who got a divorce. She is a great dog and the kids loved her. We surprised Rustin for his Birthday with her. He has been wanting a dog for a long time now.

So the coaches taught him to step then hit. I am not so sure about that cause it taught Rustin to put his leg up crazy. He would hit the ball great though!

So we put Rustin in for T-ball this year. He was the youngest on his team. I will have to say T-ball is so funny to watch. They are out in the field catching butterflies or dancing. there attention to the game only last a little bit. Rustin has enjoyed playing ball and we as parents have enjoyed watching him.

Hey ladies!
Oh does this little man love his food! He loves to eat green beans, peas all of his veggies. Rustin hated them. They are oppisite in some ways.

We got some doctor supplies and poppies work at the heart hospital. The boys were having fun playing with all the stuff.
my boy is 8 months he just keeps growing! He got 2 more teeth. Still not crawling but rolling every where. he says dada and baba nauna. He loves the bath. By the time you are done giving him one you yourself are soaking wet! Rustin has a lot of fun getting him to laugh!

HOUSE KEEPING! I FLUFF YOUR PILLOWS! So I pulled off the surprise.Jeff had to go up to California for work. He was there the week of our anniversary. So I got the bright idea to surprise him for our anniversary weekend! I had to talk to the guys who went with jeff and stayed with him in the hotel to help pull this surprise off.I got to the hotel knocked on the door and said house keeping I fluff your pillows. He answered. He was completly shocked and surprised. We had the best weekned ever! Jeff is a very hard person to keep surprises a secret. So I had to do all I could to keep it from him. The planning begins! I got Chance and Cris Figueroa to join in on the fun. We almost blew our cover a couple of times but covered very well! I was able to get a sitter for the kids so it was just an adult weekend of pure fun! These few years of marriage have been so much fun and full of trials and adventures and I would not trade any of them. I have grown and learned so much with my hubby!

Man the trip home was rather event full! Have you ever seen a train on fire. Well here you go. That was just crazy and random.
So not so fun getting pulled over by the cop in California. We had no idea why we were getting pulled over. Well the cop informed us we were not allowed to drive in the fast lane with a trailer in Cali. The fine would be $2,500.00. What that is just crazy. the cop said us Calis like our fast lanes!So our trip almost ended not so good but the cop was nice and gave us a warning. So all you who did not know that Cali law now you do!
Jeff had to go up to California for work. He was there the week of our anniversary. So I got the bright idea to surprise him for our anniversary weekend! Jeff is a very hard person to keep surprises a secret. So I had to do all I could to keep it from him. The planning begins! I got Chance and Cris Figueroa to join in on the fun. We almost blew our cover a couple of times but covered very well! I was able to get a sitter for the kids so it was just an adult weekend of pure fun! These few years of marriage have been so much fun and full of trials and adventures and I would not trade any of them. I have grown and learned so much with my hubby!

My poor baby got sick

I hate seeing this it breaks my heart.
Makes you want to cry.
Oh how I hate when my babies get sick. This time was really hard for me. Stratt got bronchitis and had to be on breathing treatments starting the night before my surgery. I hated that feeling that I could not be there to comfort my little man while he needed me most. That night was really ruff on me, I was a complete mess. Thanks to my husband my dad and father inlaw who gave me a priesthood blessing. Wow how it clamed my nerves. This decision that I had to make was not an easy one but my body gave me no other choice. I new this had to be done. Through reading my patriarchal blessing, prayer and what the doctor told me was how I recieved my conformation. I still was fighting against it. I did not want it to be true. I even asked the nurse before wheeling me in for sugery has anyone ever backed out this close to have surgery? As Jeff looked at me in concern and then the nurse looked at me and said no why? I said just wondering. It does not make things any easier when they make you sign a release stating you will not be able to have any more children right before going in. Oh dang this is it I thought to myself. Then I remembered what my mom and my sweet husband said no this does not have to be it! There are many children out there waiting for a good home and parents to love them. No words will really describe how I felt. Surgery went well as came to the doctor told me how it went. He said on top of my golf ball size cyst on my ovary my endometriosis, prolapesd uterus, there was a lot of big vericos veins on my uterus that we did not know about and it was causing alot of the problems I was having. Wow I was a little messed up in the womens section! So now I am 3 weeks into recovery and feeling great! I got my confirmation even more after talking to the doctor. Heavenly Father only gives to us what we can handle right. I got to healthy beautiful boys that were little miricales in I and Jeff's lives. I could not be more blessed for my little family. After all I think it would be selfish if I was upset that I could not have more, for there are many women out there that have been unable to have a baby on there own. So truly I am so blessed. I am so greatful for all the support I recieved from family and friends! we will see what the next chapter of our lives takes us!

So for Christmas we woke up Christmas morning at our home, opened gifts and hung out for a little while playing around with gifts. Then off we went to Jeffs parents house for more Christmas fun. We opened gifts there and ate lots of yummy food and just hung out and played around some more with gifts we got. New years day we went to My parents house and had our Christmas party. The whole family was ther except Hunter he is on his mission. We again opened some gifts and ate some yummy food. My dad is now better thenn me making his prime rib. It rocked this year. We ate until we were stuffed! We had a grat Christmas and I will say New year!

Stratt 6 months

Stratt is so ticklish. He laughs every time I wash under his armpits or under his neck,and feet. I love it it make me crack up laughing myself.

Stratt loves bath time. He will just kick and splash like crazy as soon as you put him in.
I know I say this a lot but where the heck times time go. I hate that my little man is growing up/ I want to freeze time a little bit. He is so stickin cute.
THings he is doing. almost sitting up, Luaghs a ton and talks like crazy, almost has his 2 bottom teeth in, rolls some times, almost can sit up, loves his baby food even veggies, almost sleeps through the night goes down about 7 or 8 sleeps till about 4 or 5 then eats and will go back down till about 7 or 8! My little man is growing like a weed. I just have big boys. Here are his 6 month statts. Weight 19lbs 7oz. Height 27in. and head 18.74cm

Ice Skating

Dad lets go and you are off!
This boy learned so fast. It only took 2 times of letting go. He fell a few times and got back up. Within an hour he had it down. After a second day practicing he can now start off by himself. Way to go Bubba! He was so excited he would sing while ridding his bike I can ride a bike with no training wheels whoo hoo!

So Jeff wanted me to wax his eye brows the other day and Rustin asked his daddy if it hurt and he said yes. Well Rustin was watching and said mom I want you to wax my eyebrow. Jeff said no it hurts he said no it does'nt dad! He kept asking for me to do it so I did. It was so dang funny. I did his first brow and he started laughing and then said that hurts! Well he said I don't want the other one done. I said we have to do the other one and we were able to get both done. He said ya dad that does hurt. We were all laughing. I swear he is such a funny kid. He makes us laugh all the time with things he says or does! We love you Rustin!

So this it how Stratt sleeps. We swaddle him and then put the lovey on his chest stomach area and a binki in his mouth. He sleeps in is crib at night and he is sleeping from about 9pm til 6am. He eats at 6am and then I swadle him again and stick binki in and lovey on and then put him in the swing and he usually will sleep till 9am. For naps we put him in his swing binki in and lovey on! He sleeps in his swings for naps cause he sleeps longer then if I put him in his crib.I would only get about 15 min. naps in the crib.

So the story behind the lovey. Stratt has acid reflux and colic. Does not make for a good combo. This has caused him not to be a very good sleeper. When he was about 2 1/2 weeks old I was going a little crazy from lack of sleep. I remembered my sister inlaw Shelley got this cool thing from the hospital for her baby Ellery and it helped comfort her and helped her sleep! So I asked her if I could try it and see if it would help Stratt. Sure enough it did! So instead of waking up every 2 hours he was waking up every 4 to 5 hours! It is amazing. It also helps hold his binki in. So now Shelley is making and going to sell them. So all you mothers out there if you have this problem with your baby this is amazing. She is calling it a lovey! Moms love there sleep! Thanks Shelley!

They still love each other!
We pulled out the your play matt. You are happy for 5-10 min and then you have had enough.
This is how mom gets ready. Blow dry hair and bounce you with one foot. I am getting pretty talented.
Rustin wanted to help feed his little brother. He did a great job.
1st time @ the pool. We did not even put the little guy in the water. It was a little cold that day. He still loved hearing the water though! Rustin loved getting out and swimming!

So our little guy is growing up fast! At his 2 month Doctors Appt. these were his results.

Weight- 13.5 86 percentile
length - 23 in. 51 percentile
head - 16 in 80 percentile

So he is not showing he is as big as his older brother yet. Rustin was always in the 90th percentile for hieght and weight.

Rustin could not be more excited to start another year of preschool. He has been going a little crazy with having a little baby brother. Rustin likes to always be on the go. Every night he asks what are we doing tomorrow. Where are we going or who is coming over. Then in the morning he asks the sam questions! How exciting for mom to have to repeat herself all the time! You will tell him what we are doing for the day then he will ask well what are we doing after that. As if we do not have enough going on. He is always wanting to do and go more! He is busy! He is such a joy to have in our family!

So it has been awhile I have some catching up to do. Life is crazy busy!

Stratts 1st bath. He is not to sure. Rustin was so excited for him to get in the bath with him!
He still loves his brother even if he cries a lot. Rustin always says you need to calm down or chill out to Stratt when he is screaming!
My little stink bug. He likes this position. Crazy baby!
Yup 2 babies in a row with acid reflux. Stratt developed acid reflux. It has not been fun. We have been working on finding a formula that works for him and what medicine will work best. We have had a lot of sleepless nights and days. It is hard seeing and listening to him cry for hours and nothing calms him. It makes for one tired mommy!Good thing he is so dang cute!
He is growing so fast! already 10.9 lbs dang my kids are big!
Aunt Breanna loves her boys! We can"t wait for her to have a little one!

Uncle Hunter does not have to much longer to hang with his boys before he leaves on his mission to Mexico. We will sure miss him!

It has been a little adjustment for rustin having a little brother. He does not get all the attention. We have had to find a lot of activities to do that are inside. It is just to dang hot outside with a baby. Rustin has been playing a lot of board games and painting.

So I was scheduled to be induced a week early because I told Dr. Beck I did not want another big baby. So Monday June 21st at 5am we went to Banner Gateway to get thing started. At about 7:30 they checked me dilated to a 1 and 60 percent thinned. Well at least I had done something on my own! So they started me on patosume. Then dr beck came in about 8:30 and broke my water ouch! Then by about 11:00 I was at a 3cm. I asked the nurse if I could get the epidural cause with Rustin I stayed at a 3 for 9 hours and hard contraction. So I did not want that to happen. Got the epidural and by 3:00 was at 6cm. Ok I just might have this baby today. Unlike Rustin where it was 24 hours of labor. She upped the dose again of petosume. the nurse kept telling me I would feel pressure when the baby was about to come out. I kept telling her I can not feel anything. That epidural was a strong one. I did not have a strong one with my first I could feel my legs enough to move them. This time I felt like the bottom half of my body was not apart of me. It actually mad me nauseas. I had them give me meds for that. So at 5:00 the nurse came in and checked me and said oh black hair! Let me call the Doctor. Well Dr. Beck was already in the hospital so he walked right in and the nurse said that was quick and he said I try to be prompt. They got me all ready and 3 pushes later and about 5 min later my big boy was born. beck said dang girl you can push! Beck also said good thing we induced you. You would have had a 10 pound baby! I said see I told you! I had such a great labor and delivery! I could not have asked for better nurses and my great doctor! It feels good

Grandpa McBride & Stratt! I have to post about My dad. We just received great news about his cancer. He had a pet scan done yesterday and got the results that all the tumors are gone. The big one that was on his heart that they did surgery on to remove but could not get it all that one is there but smaller. So the chemo is working! We could not be more blessed. Now we wait to hear what the next treatments are. We love you dad and know you get make it through this trial in your life. You have been such a great example to me in my life and a person I look up to! Love you and thanks for all you do for me and Grandpa McBride & Stratt.

So our little man Stratt has been a pretty good baby so far. He is not cranky all day long like his big brother Rustin. Rustin had cholic and acid reflex. Stratt on the other hand has cranky nights from about 6-midnight. Still trying to get used to life out side the tummy. So we have not got much sleep but doing and hanging in there. Who does get much sleep or things done with a new born?! They are so worth it. We could not be more excited to have him apart of are family. We have been long waiting the arrival of another child. We have been blessed with his sweet spirit!

They got me all ready and 3 pushes later and about 5 min later my big boy was born. beck said dang girl you can push! Beck also said good thing we induced you. You would have had a 10 pound baby! I said see I told you! I had such a great labor and delivery! I could not have asked for better nurses and my great doctor! It feels good to have him out!

Grandpa McBride & Stratt! I have to post about My dad. We just received great news about his cancer. He had a pet scan done yesterday and got the results that all the tumors are gone. The big one that was on his heart that they did surgery on to remove but could not get it all that one is there but smaller. So the chemo is working! We could not be more blessed. Now we wait to hear what the next treatments are. We love you dad and know you get make it through this trial in your life. You have been such a great example to me in my life and a person I look up to! Love you and thanks for all you do for me and our family!

Here I am!

Rustin has been such a big help and good big brother. He has been so excited for his little brother too come out of my belly! He would talk to him and say Stratt it is time for you to come out you are taking for ever!

So our little man Stratt has been a pretty good baby so far. He is not cranky all day long like his big brother Rustin. Rustin had cholic and acid reflex. Stratt on the other hand has cranky nights from about 6-midnight. Still trying to get used to life out side the tummy. So we have not got much sleep but doing and hanging in there. Who does get much sleep or things done with a new born?! They are so worth it. We could not be more excited to have him apart of are family. We have been long waiting the arrival of another child. We have been blessed with his sweet spirit!

So My girlfriend Tiffany would not let me have this baby without throwing me some type of shower. I told her I have everything for a boy already. So she did a diaper shower. She did such an awesome job. It turned out so cute. I had so much fun and got a lot of diapers, wipes, soaps, lotions and other fun things to! Thanks Tiff! Also thank you all who came and made it a fun afternoon! I am now ready for this little guy to come. Well I hope he is little and not as big as Rustin!

Rustin's Preschool Graduation

Rustin had a little preschool graduation program. It was so cute they sang some cute songs and got litttle certificates. I so forgot my camera so I shot this picture when I got home. He is growing up time needs to slow down a bit. Rustin is so excited to be a big brother. He is always asking how much longer. He has told me mom I will change his poopy diapers. Oh how I wish that woukd work! He will be a bi help!This year as gone by so fast! I can not believe the school year has come and gone. Rustin loved going to preschool twice a week. He is already asking when does my big kid preschool start? Next year he will ne going Mon. Wed. Fri. from 9-12. Crazy.

Funny thing On Mothers day Rustin all he could talk about is how he wanted to get me red roses for Mother's Day. Where has the time gone. I have a 4 year old what? He has grown up so fast. This year he could not stop talking about how he wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese for his Birthday. Those dang commercials they suck your kids right in. So we ended up giving in and having a small family party. Rustin started out his Birthday with throwing up in my car on the way to get some ice cream for his party. Oh great I was thinking party tonight and sick birthday boy. I just called all the fam and said ok we are playing it by ear for the party tonight. Rustin threw up about 7 times and I felt so bad. No fun when it's your birthday. So I put him down for a nap. He woke up around 3:30 party is sup post to start at 5:30. So I asked him to you feel better he kept saying yes. But then he would kinda cry in the corner without me seeing. He really wanted to go to his party. Well he had not thrown up ant it was 5 so I said ok it is on and headed down there. He never threw up again and acted like he never did. It was crazy. Not sure what it was. I had a good idea that over the weekend he ate to much junk. He had 3 parties we went to. He does not do good with to many sweets. All in all I think everyone had a great time!Thanks everyone for coming and making it a great one!

Wild life zoo

So we have wanted to take Rustin to the Wild Life Zoo for a while now. I got a coupon on my eggs that was buy one get one free admission so we went. Lets just say I will never go back to the PHX Zoo. This one is worth the drive and so much better. Rustin had a blast!

Funny thing about Rustin I must write down because I want to remember it always. So it is Sunday today and our family has been sick with this nasty cold for about a week now. I ran to Wal-Mart with Rustin to grab another humidifer to see if that will help us. We just can't seem too kick it. So we were in the check out line and Rustin says to the lady behind us Heavenly father does not like it when you get those on your body. Now I remember seeing the lady before he said this and new exactly what he was talking about. She had tattoos. I had told him before when he had asked me why people have those and that he wanted one that we can't get those Heavenly Father does not like us doing that to our bodies. So he was just repeating what I had told and taught him. So he kept trying to repeat it to this lady and I am trying to hurry get my stuff and hit him and tell him shhhh but they had heard. So I turned around and said sorry. Her husband says that's ok as he laughs you are teaching him right. As Rustin says well mom Heavenly Father does not like it she has 2 on her back and 1 on her boob. Ok at this point I just want to crawl in a hole I was so embarassed. The guy says you are so turning like 5 shades of red really it's ok. He was saying that to me but I still was a little emberassed. I hope the lady was not affended. The joys of children you never know what is going to come out of there mounths! You got to love them they do make you laugh!
